Job Description

Do you have a level 3 childcare qualification and a passion for working with childrenDo you want to join a friendly and supportive team at a well-established nursery in Audlem If so, we have the perfect role for you!Reed Education are working alongside a family-run nursery that provides high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery are looking for a qualified and experienced nursery assistant to work in their preschool room. You will be responsiblefor:

Planning and delivering engaging and stimulating activities that support the children’s learning and development
Observing and assessing the children’s progress and sharing feedback with parents and colleagues
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the nursery policies and procedures
Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
Working as part of a team to create a warm and welcoming environment for the children and their families

To be a level 3 nursery assistant, you will need:

A level 3 childcare qualification (such as NVQ, CACHE or BTEC) or equivalent
At least one year of experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
A good understanding of the EYFS and child development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
