Absolute Health and Care are recruiting for Care Assistants to work within our clients large impressive residential care home set in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside on the outskirts of Nantwich. Due to the location of this home candidates should not be reliant on public transport and should have their own means of transport.The home offers its residents a great care package ranging from Nursing or Dementia, Respite and Recovery, Disability or Palliative Care to meet their needs.The Home is well run and well-staffed and joining part of its team of healthcare professionals will allow you an opportunity to really enhance and improve your skills in a supportive friendly environment where no two days are the same.We can offer a choice of Day or Night shifts where you will work across each of the units assisting the residents with all tasks associated with daily living. Residents may need a little help getting in or out of bed, accessing washroom facilities, and moving about to attend multiple activities which have been laid on for them at the home. You will assist in personal care needs and mealtimes along with some day-to-day housekeeping duties to ensure all residents care needs are met.The shift times available are:· 6-hour days 8am - 2pm/ 2pm - 8pm· 12-hour days 8am - 8pm· 12-hour nights 8pm-8am.Candidates must be able to access the home either side of those shifts as they will need to change into and out of uniform at the home and participate in the team shift handovers ensuring they have a good knowledge of the day to day needs of the residents.At Absolute Health and Care we can help you move into a new role working flexibly as a temporary care assistant within the home choosing how many days and hours you work each week, or we can assist you to find a permanent opportunity with set weekly hours with this or other Clients we work with.Due to the unique way we work with our candidates we can assist you to obtain a fully enhanced DBS check, provide a free uniform, weekly pay, pension, and accrued Holiday pay meaning you do not miss out on the benefits of taking holidays when you need them and still receiving a wage.We also provide comprehensive training at no cost to you and can also provide bespoke further training courses to further your knowledge and help you develop in your chosen career.If you would like to discuss this or other roles, we have available please do not hesitate to contact the office for an informal chat to discuss what you are looking for and how we can help you.
