Job Description

R13 Recruitment are supporting a startup software company who are experiencing a period of growth, presenting a brand new job opportunity newly available for a Software Developer to join a small but established team - specialising in providing software solutionsin the finance sector.F/T (although for the right individual and technical skill set) may consider P/T hours. Salary offered is up to £40K depending on experience. Flexible/hybrid working environment, with the expectation of 2 days per week working in the office.The day to day

Develop, test, and maintain software applications built in the .NET framework.
Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions.
Remain familiar with new technologies and trends to continuously improve software development practices.

You will have/be

Problem solving skills are essential, with the willingness to learn all aspects of deployment and delivery and to get involved with testing, bug-fixing and client specifications
Experience with SQL Server (essential)
Bachelors degree in computer science
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
Strong knowledge of .NET framework, VB.NET (essential), and ASP.NET
Strong knowledge of front end web development such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn
