Job Description

I am a 17 year old male and I have no diagnosed specific disabilities.I can present as a person with a learning disability however, this is more likely to be related to extreme anxiety, emotional dysregulation and poor concentration associated with early life trauma and attachment difficulties.I am really interested in fitness and enjoy going to the gym. I like to spend time on my own in my bedroom watching DVDs (Friends) or playing on my DS. I also like cooking and I can cook basic meals like lasagnes.I would need you to be understanding and non-judgemental so you can support me to manage my needs, develop good routines and build positive, trusting relationships. Thus enabling me to express my character, feel safe and enrich my life.Registered Manager - Male Only*Salary: £34000 per annum*This post is covered by The Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Occupational RequirementsRegistered Manager Requirements:The successful candidate will be engaged in a robust, person-centred training programmeyoull learn new skills and be encouraged to explore continuing professional development opportunities.Youll have the satisfaction of building a positive therapeutic relationship with the young person you support and build trusting, supportive and professional relationships with those that you work alongside.We are interested in male candidates who have experience as a Manager within Childrens Services / CAHMS / Looked After Children / Care Leavers / the care system and preferably have experience or be willing to be a Registered Childrens Manager. You will alsopossess an NVQ/QCF 5.You will have a proven track record in this highly rewarding field, ideally 3-2-1 or 2-2-1 care, with the skills to deal with multiple and complex needs of young people. You will be able to manage difficult situations calmly and are able to work within prescribedinterventions that provide attachment and Trauma Informed approaches.You will need to be resilient, emotionally, and physically fit to do this role. Although you will generally work off rota, you would need to have flexibly to cover shifts which would include earlies, lates, sleep ins, weekends, and bank holidays.To assist with your own professional development; you will be invited to attend our unique Gray Healthcare Training Academy. This will consist of 4 / 5 inclusive days and includes workshops such has: Psychological Support, Communication Skills and ClinicalIntervention to ensure you are a highly skilled and motivated Professional in complex care.What are the rewards
