Mechanical Design EngineerAshton-Under-Lyne Permanent £30,000 to £40,000 Depending on experience + Benefits My client, a growing manufacturer in the Northwest has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Mechanical Design Engineer. Working within this well-established company you will be involved in the full design process of new products andinstrumental in all aspects of engineering research, design and innovation. The company is experiencing a continued increase in business and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team. Role & Responsibilities * Full Product Design utilising 3D & 2D CAD Packages * Providing design input to all aspects of the process from conception through to manufacture * Develop mechanical product and component designs, process systems * Work within the New Product Development * Reporting directly to the Head of Product Design & Development * Work on factory layouts, general arrangements & pipe layouts & detail drawing for all equipment.
