The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, who are a leading provider of business services and workplace solutions.Key Competencies:Customer focused and able to flex approach to meet different stakeholder requirementsDelivers on commitmentsAble to manage in ambiguity and manage multiple prioritiesIdentifies change opportunities and drives change through the companyBuilds strong internal and external workingrelationships and networksPragmatic approachCreates an environment where individuals can openly question, share information and give feedback.Genuinely values others input and expertise and is willing to learn from othersUnderstands the bigger pictureQuestions and challenges system procedures to get to the root of system issuesCurious, drives changes across the business through people and cultureMaintains highest levels of integrity and confidentialityDemonstrates empathy, tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive/ difficult situationsTakes accountability for delivering consistent high quality outputsOpenly challenges poor practicesQualifications:BTEC / NVQ or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance / Engineering or Installations.Experience in a production and/or automated DC environment.Good knowledge and understanding of automated systems, conveyors , both from a mechanical and electrical perspective, including PLC control and fault finding.Skills & Knowledge:Systems Maintenance - ensuring that all automated equipment, conveyors, box making / lidding machines, Label machines and racking etc are well maintained and available for use.Strong analytical, planning and fault solving skills.PPM - ensuring that the schedules are complete and equipment maintained in good orderBuildings maintenance - to include maintenance, checks and repairs to lighting, ventilation, plumbing, toilet facilities, fabric etc.Health & Safety implementations and training requirements for working at height and use of MEWPSProven experience of working to high standards of Health & SafetyResponding to any site request as within the role required.Excellent communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised.Working Hours:They have both of the following shifts patterns available:Rotating Shifts on a 2 week basis:Early Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3pm - for 2 weeksLate Shift: Monday - Friday 12:30pm-9pm & 1:30pm-10pm - for 1 week eachORPermanent Late Shift:Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10pmSalary:The salary will be £35,142.00 basic pay for 40 hrs PLUS shift allowance after 8pm.Therefore the total salary will be as below:Rotating Shifts: £35,965Permanent Late Shifts: £37,336The Recruitment Co are an equal opportunities employerCPManchesterGSThe Recruitment Co. is an equal opportunities employer and were committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
