Job Description

Jigsaw Homes Group is one of the largest housing groups in England with more than 35,000 homes across the North West and East Midlands. We are looking for a qualified IT Systems Support (2nd and 3rd Line Support), to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne.You will be a part of a team that maintains and supports the companys core IT systems providing an essential service to the business for both in-house, mobile and customer facing productsThere are great chances of progression if you fulfil this role and demonstrate proficiency in all the areas required to support our users to the highest level.About Us:We provide quality, low-cost housing and play a wider role in making sure our residents thrive in their homes and benefit from living in healthy, sustainable communities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration of 3rd party systems
  • Data management and data interrogation using SQL (Oracle and MSSQL) and Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Scripting solutions to satisfy business need (Shell, Python, Java)
  • Management of Windows and Linux machines
Required Skills:Youll be an analytical problem solver with a passion for IT and delivering a good service, with aspirations of continual personal developmentDesirable Skills:
  • Demonstrable proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word etc)
  • A qualification in an IT related discipline at level 3 or above
  • Exposure and basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to scripting / coding skills in any language

  • You can choose to work 35 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday OR 35 compressed hours per week, between 7am and 7pm, over 4 dayswith 50% of your time working from home upon completion of a satisfactory probation period
  • 27 working days holiday per annum (based on a 5-day working week) plus bank holidays, plus additional days after 2 years continuous service (to a maximum of 5 days)
