Job Description

Job Title: Relief Catering AssistantTrust: Tameside and Glossop Integrated NHS Foundation TrustLocation: Tameside General HospitalBand/Pay rate: Band 2 £11.45 per hourContract: NHSP BankHours / Shifts: 22.5hrs/week. Shifts between 6am and 8:30pmWe have an ongoing placement opportunity available for a Catering Assistant at Tameside General HospitalWhat youll be responsible for:

  • Candidates will work as part of the catering team which plates up all the patients meals
  • Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery.
  • Any general cleaning that is needed.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Food Safety L2 (desirable)
