Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical/IT Project Manager with proven experience within electrical / IT infrastructure and managing multiple projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business.The Project Manager will be planning, co-ordinating and managing subcontractors and the delivery of electrical and IT infrastructure within new Care Homes and Supported Living Accommodation projects, to ensure new services are fully operationally effective.This is a newly created position as a direct result of expansion, you will be based at Navari’s head office in Ashley, Cheshire (near Manchester Airport), with national UK and Northern Ireland travel for site visits. You will work closely with Navari’s leadership team and be flexible and adapt to changing priorities to meet the needs of the business.The Company Navari is part of the Compassionate Care Group, which is a family run Care company providing outstanding home care within the community and supported living services. Navari has developed an industry leading suite of tech services that ensures Care homes and Supported Living accommodation are safe and secure. Navari services include: IT network infrastructure, Hikvision CCTV, Paxton door entry systems, energy services including a utilities portal and WIFI network.What does the role look like

  • Managing and organising subcontractors, suppliers and schedules for installation projects of CCTV, Door entry systems, WIFI networks, IT Networks and configuration, fire alarms within the new Care Homes and Supported Living accommodation
  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects across UK and Northern Ireland
  • Attending site visits of current projects across the UK and Northern Ireland when required
  • Working closely with directors to refine strategy in terms of processes and ways of working to provide an efficient professional service across the team
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with new and existing clients
  • Capable of undertaking repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Ensuring the design & specification is being followed
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
  • Work with the CFO to ensure the funding and operational costs / revenue of any new schemes can be achieved.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers relationships and performance and ensure schemes are appropriately resourced to meet programmes
  • Communicate updates on progress and financial performance internally and externally
  • Control preparation of cost estimates and the documentation for contract bids
  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive experience of project delivery and managing a number of key projects at the same time
  • A positive can do’ attitude and be flexible and adaptable to meet the business needs
  • Background & qualifications within an electrical discipline
  • Experience with Fire Alarms, Door entering systems, CCTV, IT Network systems
  • Proven track record of residential projects - preferably for private partnership / Housing Associations / Care sector is desirable but not essential
  • Car driver with own vehicle is essential as site visits across the UK and Northern Ireland will be required
  • Commercial awareness - an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a project
  • A good understanding of managing budgets
  • Excellent Communication and rapport building skills
