WAREHOUSE STOREPERSON£21,000 - £22,000Ashford AreaFull Time / Permanent Working HoursMonday to Friday 8.00am to 5pmFrom 1st March 2023: 4/5/4/5 working week patternInterpersonnel Recruitment is working with our forward-thinking client to seek a Warehouse Storeperson to join them on a full time permanent basis at their offices based in the Ashford area.Amazing Benefits - The company is also rolling out a new working pattern of reduced hours but on full time pay! If this sounds of interest then keep on reading...Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson that has experience using a counterbalance forklift. Main duties:Assisting clients with:

  • Loading / unloading vehicles
  • Checking off loads correctly against inbound paperwork
  • Picking / pallet wrapping of outbound customer orders
  • Samples collation, wrapping and despatch to customers
  • Marketing tile cards compilation
  • Retaining a tidy and uncluttered warehouse environment
  • Liaising with sales desk regarding despatches
  • Liaising with sales desk regarding any export documentation
  • Heavy manual handling
  • Smart space management
  • Stock checks
  • General handyman building & site maintenance
  • Meet and exceed any KPIs set
Skills Required
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills with a polite manner on various levels, from colleague to customers, suppliers and 3rd party drivers.
  • Have a naturally happy disposition and demonstrate precision, interest, pride, care and a consistent approach in your day-to-day tasks
  • Be literate with excellent spelling
  • Ability and interest in learning product knowledge, both aesthetically and technically.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to clients and fellow work colleagues with good business ethics, spelling and grammar.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written in person and with technology.
  • Understanding of other Microsoft products ideal but not essential
  • Excellent organisation skills, time management, priority management and an eye for detail.
  • Computer literacy especially in Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with the ability to work alone as well as in a team.
  • A positive attitude and happy nature with ability to get on with all types of personalities.
  • Enthusiastic in their scrupulous attention to detail.
Working HoursMonday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm up until end of February 2023Thereafter the company is moving from a 5 day week to an alternating 4/5/4/5 day work week pattern. The Warehouse Storeperson will join the organisation prior to the roll-out of their new office hours that will reduce the working hours by one day for every2 weeks, not reducing your pay.The location of the role is based in the outskirts of Ashford and due to the rural surroundings, own transport is required.Interpersonnel Recruitment is operating as an Employment Agency for our client for this particular role.
