Job Description

Job Title: MRI Radiographer, Band 7Location: AshfordStart Date: 10/10/2022Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 0800-2000Hourly Pay Rate: £24 - £27 (Payment under Direct Engagement Rates)The Client:Our client is one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people. They also provide some specialist services for a wider population, including renal services in Medwayand Maidstone and a cardiac service for all of Kent based at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.The Role:

  • To provide high quality and timely MRI and other Radiographic examinations for users following protocols and guidance to enable best diagnosis and treatment. Prioritize and assess workflow reacting to the needs and safety of patients at all times.
  • Supervise radiography and imaging support assistants.
  • Take responsibility for radiation safety in your work area, including checking equipment for malfunctions and errors.
  • Observe the rules and regulations of their professional bodies. (Society and College of Radiographers and Health & Care Professions Council). Maintain an up-to-date record of CPD activities in line with the requirements of the HCPC.
Skills Required:
  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Possess significant MRI experience.
  • Able to cannulate
