We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 driver for one of our clients based in Ashford. This position is a temp to perm position, starting with an hourly rate moving onto a salary after a successful qualifying period.Working as a class 2 driver delivering a range of garden building supplies across the UK, this role requires a candidate to be a team player and be willing to chip in where possible.Delivering the goods to the installation team, the ideal candidate will be required to load/unload the vehicle meaning that being physically fit is a must.The hours of this role are all within Monday to Friday, but may require early starts in order to deliver to the installation team on time. No weekend work, but some nights out may be required, however this will be in a hotel with meals arranged.Extensive knowledge of tacho rules and regulations is key as you will be responsible for managing your driving hours.Fork Lift licence is an added advantage but recognised training will be given to the successful candidate who meets all other criteria.Requirements/experience required:- Cat C licence (2 years exp)- Valid CPC and digicard- A flexible approach to working- Physically fit- Happy to unload/load the lorry (handballing is a key element to this position)If you feel you meet all requirements, and are keen to apply or hear more about the role, do not hesitate to contact us.Additional Benefits & Requirements
