Job Description

Please find all the details below:Job Title: Facilities, Office and HSE SupervisorLocation: Ashford, KentSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm with 45 mins lunch, Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm with 1 hour breakHybrid working: Due to the nature of the role, this is an office based position.Benefits:

As the Facilities, Office and HSE Supervisor your duties and responsibilities would be:
  • The main Building contact for all facilities / EHS at the Ashford Office, responsible for site security, emergency response coordination and liaison with the landlord.
  • Managing outside contractors to provide property/office management services.
  • Working closely with the landlord to ensure the needs of the facility are being met in a timely manner and service levels are adhered to.
  • Managing all facilities related tasks including: Equipment status sheet, CMMS (corrective & Preventative maintenance, projects and expense / capital budget development year over year.
  • To improve the operational systems & processes that support the facility.
  • Assessing building conditions, locating missing personnel and delivering a status report to assembly point leaders during emergency evacuations.
  • Working with Management and Administrative teams to ensure proper seating and work space is arranged on floors.
  • Overseeing and managing all vendors and contractors and the associated projects as needed.
  • Overseeing all facilities and capital projects at the site.
  • Supporting employee engagement and communications at regular site communications meetings.
  • Negotiating contracts and managing contractors at site.
  • Acting as the point of contact for co-tenants.
  • Handling any security issues which could include access issues, system software or hardware issues, parking lot safety, alarm response, site vandalism, etc.
  • Organising card access software for site, including reports.
  • Overseeing a small team to ensure objectives of the site are achieved.
  • Providing site communications that may affect building occupants, such as repairs, outages, etc.
  • Audit work to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and implement all UK EHS related activities including programs, site teams, metrics, written procedures, and training, to ensure compliance with all existing local and national EHS regulations and Company policies for procedures and systems.
  • Implement good EHS incident prevention.
  • Support Site leaders and site teams with projects and initiatives and EHS task responsibility and act as Site Security Officer in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Provide site communication that may affect building occupants, such as repairs, outages, workplace health & safety etc.
  • Maintain site security to protect Company employees, visitors and intellectual property.
Ideal skills and experience for the position:
  • Previous experience as a Facilities Supervisor is essential
  • A NEBOSH qualification would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills to advise Department Heads
