Job Description

Diamond Search Recruitment are excited to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design & manufacturing business. Recruiting for a Fabricator Supervisor based in Ashford, Kent. The successful individual will have proven experience & knowledge in mechanical fabrication. They will be required to oversee the fabrication team ensuring all materials are issuedand the machines are running at full capacity.Salary: Up to £37,000.00 per annum including bonusResponsibilities:

  • Ensuring downtime on machines / tools is limited.
  • Ensuring materials are issues in advance of requirement.
  • Driving the team to reach KPI’s.
  • Keeping areas tidy
  • Compliance with and promoting H&S and safe working practices.
  • Trouble-shooting CNC machines and tools when required.
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace organisation.
  • Continuous improvement, with elimination of waste.
  • Work as a team to achieve customer quality and cost-effective production.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 yrs. experience in supervising a team.
  • Confidence and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must follow Standard Operating Procedures closely and must observe all features of the working environment.
  • Must be able to quickly identify when the manufacturing process is deviating from normal.
  • Must be able to work from technical drawings / diagrams.
