Job Description

Electronics Engineering ManagerThe Electronics Engineering Managerwill lead a dual site production team, but will predominently be based in North Devon. As Engineering Operations Manager of this successful Electronics manufacturing facility, you will be confident in your own ability to engage both internal and external customers in a progressive manner whilst acting as a strategiccross functional leader with a strong hold on improvement methodology. As a key role within this busy and successful Electronics Engineering business, your advice and support to managers, supervisors, and colleagues will be instrumental to the improvement of the service to all employees across the company.The Opportunity:

  • Implement Lean Manufacture Techniques ensuring an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding Electronics Engineering and Assembly environment.
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics.
  • Meet all productivity targets, reduce unit costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant.
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to the management team.
You will offer:
  • Minimum of 5 years Engineering Operations management experience in anElectronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Prince
  • Engineering Qualifications – Electronics systems and component manufacture
