Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding role with excellent career progression opportunities Domus are recruiting for a Deputy Manager on behalf of a leading provider of therapeutic care and education.The Deputy Manager will be accountable to the Registered Manager of the home. You will be responsible for ensuring the aims and objectives are met, managing, supporting and helping to direct a team of Residential Care Workers.The Deputy Manager will need to have the knowledge and ability to manage the home in the manager’s absence.You should have a clear understanding of what makes outstanding care and how to manage a team to achieve the very best outcomes for children.If you are passionate about improving the lives and outcomes for children and young people; encouraging life skills and helping the young people to develop their social skills through play and education, whilst having fun, we would like to hear from you. Following a thorough induction and training programme, your duties will include:Responsible for the effective management, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people. Ensure delivery of care and education plan objectives.
