Job Description

Payroll ManagerPermanentAshby-de-la-Zouch£40k-£45kThe client is a leading Top 25 company operating in the food and drink industry. They pride themselves on their award-winning culture that has been around since 2013. As the growth of the company increases, the opportunity has arisen for Payroll managerto join their HR Admin team.The ideal candidate should have the following requirements:

  • CIPP Level 5 qualified
  • Payroll experience, preferably within an HR sector
  • Experience in managing a teams roles and priority focus
  • Ability to develop, review, process, and control Payroll
  • Have significant experience working in a dynamic and complex payroll environment
  • Payroll Advisory knowledge is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll and pension statutory requirements
  • Sound working knowledge of payroll systems and HR applications
  • Well versed in analysis of data production
  • Curate meaningful reports
  • Experienced in interfaces and automation of data and input/uploads
  • Give support in all audit processes, while maintaining legal compliance
  • Including auto-enrolment into pensions
Responsibilities:
  • Management, processing, and reconciliation of monthly payroll to maintain compliance with contractual and statutory obligations
  • Ensure accuracy in inclusion of year-end processes (P11D and P60)
  • Work closely with the payroll team, business, and HR team to improve procedures
  • Respond to enquiries made by employees and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Provide/create training opportunities by identifying development requirements
  • Undertake the day-to-day management of the HR Admin team when the payroll and HR Admin manager is off-site
  • Ensure a controlled environment
  • Use payroll expertise in development, management and improvement of Payroll, processes, and controls
  • Supporting Payroll, HR Admin manager and other staff with business initiatives
  • Maintain strong and efficient relationships with external bodies
