Job Description

Office Administrator - Passive Fire - Part TimeSalary:£17,000 - £23,000Location:AshbourneCompanyHunter Mason Consulting Ltd Hunter Masons client are experts in passive fire protection and fire stopping and due to significant business growth they are now looking for a new office administrator to join their growing team. They specialise in the Injectaclad System, which is usedfor building façade fire compartment protection. The office administrator would be responsible for looking after certification, accounting and invoicing etc. This is a part time role which would over two days a week in the office, and the client is fully flexibleon times and hours. They are also open to a remote working option should this suitable, however regular visits to the office would be required whilst in probation. This is ideal for anyone looking to work around school hoursResponsibilities:

  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Ensuring all relevant certifications are kept up to date for office and staff.
  • Dealing with contractors.
  • Ensuring everything stays fully ISC compliant.
  • Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance
  • Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
What we’d like from you
  • Proven experience as an office administrator or relevant role
  • Experience with Passive Fire
  • Experience working with ISC certifications
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
  • Organisation and time management skillsIn-depth knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards related to passive fire protection.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with various stakeholders and build relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Fire Arrest and ClockedIn Software is advantageous
