Job Description

SF Recruitment are collaborating with a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in Ashbourne. They are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Junior Office Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart yourcareer and grow within a supportive and innovative work environment. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday and paying £20,000. As a Junior Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the office, contributing to a smooth and efficient work environment. Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative and organisational tasks. This is an idealrole for someone looking to gain valuable office experience and build a strong foundation in administration. TrainingOur client is committed to investing in your professional growth. As a Junior Office Administrator, you will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in your role. You wont be on this journey alone. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members who are eager to share their knowledge and guide you as you navigate your responsibilities. This mentorship program is designed to help you thrive and builda strong foundation in office administration. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Initially you will spend time learning about the products we manufacture and sell
  • When you are confident with the products you will be shown how to log our customer enquiries
  • You will then be shown how we follow up quotations (our product offering and price) by telephone and how we log these calls on our bespoke software (CRM). This will be done under the supervision of your mentor.
  • As you become more experienced in the role, you will be responsible for new enquires received in the flooring department and you will start to take ownership of multiple enquires/ quotations working alongside our external sales team in a bid to secure neworders for the business. Whilst less reliant, you will still have the support of your mentor.
  • You will also be introduced to other areas of the department with involvement in estimating, planning and production to broaden your overall knowledge.
Skills required:
  • Be highly motivated with a desire to succeed.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills
  • A valid driving licence with access to a car. Unfortunately, public transport is not practical
  • A confident communicator who is not afraid to pick the phone and speak to customers.
