Job Description

Office and Administration ManagerPermanent £30,000-£40,000 (DOE)Arborfield** A solid grounding in sales and purchasing AND general finance/accounts would be essential for this role.

  • Are you an experienced Office Manager
  • Do you have strong Accounts experience (SAGE Line 50 being a strong advantage)
  • Do you have previous experience of managing a small admin team
  • Would you describe yourself as proactive and able to prioritise
If you have answered YES’ to all of the above questions, then this could well be the next exciting role for you!Our long-standing Client, based near Arborfield have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will provide financial and operational support to the business on a day-to-day basis, managing a teamof three staff, comprising of administration support, and sales order processing.We are looking for a proactive individual who can prioritise workload, delegate, motivate and monitor the teams’ activity.Day to day team/department activity would include:
  • Raising quotes and sales orders.
  • Raising monthly recurring invoices.
  • Reconciling revenue streams.
  • Ensuring supplier invoices are allocated and stock allocated accordingly.
  • Review outstanding back-order reports.
  • Monitoring aged debtors’ analysis and chase outstanding debtors.
  • Ensure office supplies are replenished as and when needed.
  • Consult with third party contractors and estate management for building maintenance and compliance.
  • Undertake team appraisals, set and monitor/review objectives.
  • Attend monthly management meetings.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Competent and effective user of IT, including Excel and Word and the ability to learn to use IT software quickly.
  • Working knowledge of Sage Line 50.
  • Microsoft Licensing.
