Job Description

Our client is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their busy team. Successful applicants will be offered work starting immediately in an exciting, fast paced environment. This position is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidates.Hours of work: Monday to Friday 2.30pm-9.30pmKey Responsibilities:Working on the sortation lines processing packages of all shapes and sized throughout shift. Using hand scanners to process all parcels by postcode and ensuring the safe and productive sortation of all mail and parcels.

Loading and unloading

Sorting items of any size and weight

Heavy lifting up to 30kg

Performing physical activities including pulling, reaching, bending over, climbing and kneeling

Daily interaction with co-workers and warehouse management

Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record

Report any worker safety factors and/or equipment malfunctions

Keep work environment neat and clean

Use of pallet pump trucks and stillages

Essential Skills:

To be thorough and pay attention to detail

The ability to work well with others

Work well under pressure

Physical skills like movement and coordination
