Job Description

As an Ofsted Good provider, Skills North East prides itself on delivering high quality training and qualifications to businesses and individuals.We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Business Developmnt Manager to work on achiveing our KPIs and Profiles on ESF SSU contracts.main roles are;

  • Generating new course enquiries
  • Conducting IAG meetings
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing learners
  • When it comes to generating course enquiries, day-to-day duties typically include:
  • Promoting courses online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contacting companies who may require their staff to be trained or have vacancies to be filled
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up IAG meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:
  • Developing rapport with learners
  • promoting our products and courses by phone, email, and in person
  • Achieving recruitment goals weekly
  • promoting Skills North East’s USP’s to clients and applicants
  • Conducting telephone & face to face interviews with learners
  • Completion of paperwork nine with compliance.
  • Job RequirementsTo be an effective business development executive for SNE you need to be:
  • Socially adept
  • An understanding of Social Media
  • Able to self-motivate and deliver to sales targets
  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadline
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Knowledge of the Adult Education market, recruitment or employer engagement experience would be an advantage
  • Proven track record of achieving KPI’s
