Job Description

Growing and exciting global brand are looking for a HR Advisor to join their HR team in their Peterborough based distribution centre.Hybrid working; 3 days in Office, 2 days work from home, comes with 25-day holiday entitlement and a fantastic suite of benefits!Reporting into the Senior HR Manager this role will be completely generalist so is a great role for someone who loves variety, being adaptable and being kept busy.Working with another HR advisor and 2 HR Administrators this role oversees 350 employees on site, with a wider HR team in other sectors of the business and an international head office senior leadership.As HR Advisor you will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on ER case work and performance management ensuring best practice approach and alignment with company culture.
  • Compile, review, advise, and report on HR data trends such as absence, employee engagement, staff turnover, probation reviews and performance management.
  • Support the senior HR manager on Reward, Benefits and Employee Engagement. Undertaking HR projects such as engagement surveys, salary benchmarking and benefit reviews.
  • Learning and Development supporting the L&D coordinator onsite to create and deliver training, this role would mainly advise on HR tasks such as: performance management tasks, talent mapping, setting objectives, and undertaking annual reviews.
The right HR Advisor will need:
  • Minimum CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience managing ER case work, advising, and upskilling line managers as needed.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced logistics business would be advantageous.
  • Experience delivering training or an interest in the L&D aspect of HR would be desirable.
