Job Description

Supported Housing OfficerLocation: Based at The Forecastle, Alveston, South GloucestershireSalary: £20,000 - £20,500 (dependent on experience) + good benefits (pro-rata)Job Type: Permanent Our client are proud to be working in innovative ways and they strive to provide excellent service and support to their clients. They use the PIP approach (Psychologically Informed Practice) to work with their clients in holistic way to ensure they receive the best support possible. They also heavily invest in developing their staff to make sure they’re fully equipped to support their clients so a wide range of training will be available for you.The Forecastle is open between 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and is not staffed on bank holidays. The part time role would be required to work some hours on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday but they can flexible about how and when the hours are made up. They are looking for a candidate who would like between 12.5 hours to 17 hours per week. The amount can be agreed upon at interview.Requirements of the Supported Housing Officer:Our client is looking for one highly motivated and organised individual with exceptional communication skills who is passionate about making a positive difference in peoples’ lives. As a Supported Housing Officer, you will be working closely with our clients, supporting them through difficult times in their lives. This involves dealing with housing management issues as well as working closely with their tenants on 1 to 1 basis.Ideally you would have background working in supported housing or support related environment however this is not essential as they are looking for people with the right attitude, who are willing to learn and develop on a professional level.
