Job Title: Music Teacher - Nasheed Artist (Secondary School)Location: Alum Rock, BirminghamContract Type: Full-time, 32.5 hours per weekReed Education is delighted to be supporting a reputable secondary school in Alum Rock, Birmingham, in their search for a passionate and talented Music Teacher specializing in Nasheed artistry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is dedicatedto nurturing students musical abilities and has a keen interest in Nasheed performance.Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging music lessons with a focus on Nasheed artistry, encompassing vocal skills, rhythm, and performance techniques.
Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical talents and nurture their creativity.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love for music and Nasheed within the student body.
Develop lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and effectively manage classroom activities.
Assess and evaluate students progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.
Collaborate with the schools music department to organize performances, competitions, and other musical events.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialization in Music or a related field.
Proven experience or strong interest in Nasheed performance and composition.
Sound knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and musical instruments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Salary:The salary for this position will be based on the Main Scale (MSP) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) depending on the candidates qualifications and experience.About the School:The secondary school is well-established within the local community of Alum Rock, Birmingham.
