Job Description

Bar Supervisor - Aberdeen - up to 21,000.00 - £24,000.00 per annum dependent on experience, Full time. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bar Supervisor looking for a new role in an established bar.This is an exciting new role and the successful postholder will be working alongside the owners in ensuring that the establishment meets its objectives in a timely fashion.Our client is in the process of a rebrand, so if you love working in hospitality, but wish it was even better Then join the team.   • Contribute to creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
  • Oversee bar setup, including stock management, cleanliness, and organization
  • Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute a wide range of events
  • Monitor and maintain bar inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking usage
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements
  • A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers, performers, and event organizers
  • Maintain strict stock and financial control
  • To understand and actively support all company policies relevant to your role, including Health and Safety Audit
  • Ensure then venue is open on time and that they are ready for business
  • Manage cash handling and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all customers, encouraging repeat business and positive reviews.
  • Assist in the training and induction of bar staff as required.
  • The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting establishment
  • Growing the businesss online presence across all social media channels
Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the role.
  • Personal license holder
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proficient in handling high-pressure situations and resolving customer issues calmly and professionally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and management.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, prioritising tasks, and ensuring efficient operations.
  • Previous supervisor experience on bar/club
  • People management
  • Stock control knowledge
  • Time management skills, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Experience and knowledge in cleaning beer lines
  • Experience and knowledge in operating POS terminals, namely ePOS, now.
