Job Description

Full Stack .Net Developer - Alfreton / WFH - £60kDue to company growth and new project demand, a well-known engineering company are looking for another Full Stack .Net Developer to join their software team. New projects include developing eCommerce applications, WMS systems and mobile applications so thereare plenty of projects to get your hands on!The ideal candidate will ideally have 2 plus years experience in .Net development and be able to travel to Alfreton 2 days a week.You will be reporting to the Technical Lead and have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing new features and internal systems using Microsoft .Net Stack.
  • Working alongside 3 other Developers and collaborating as a team on various projects.
  • Working on new software builds throughout the full SDLC from concept to release.
  • Acting as a POC for end users.
  • Liasing with internal stakeholders and heads of departments to understand requirements.
  • Learning new technologies at company expense.
  • Regularly contributing in team meetings and sharing new ideas.
Essential Technologies:
  • C# and .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.Net or VB.Net
  • SQL
  • Understanding of REST, SOAP or Web Services and APIs
  • JavaScript
  • Previous experience working on projects throughout the full SDLC
  • 2+ years commercial experience in a .Net Development role.
Desirable Skills:
  • Mobile app development with Xamarin or Maui
  • React or similar front end JavaScript framework such as Angular or Vue
  • Experience working on eCommerce applications, WMS systems or mobile applications will be beneficial but not compulsory.
