As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, providing cover for absent teachersand overseeing between 25-30 students.Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment
Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task
Manage behaviour according to school policies, fostering a positive classroom environment
Support the learning and development of students, providing support to students who may require additional help
Support the learning and general wellbeing of students, adapting learning to meet individual needs
Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity in the learning process

Person Specification:

A relevant qualification/degree is desirable
Prior experience within a educational setting or working with young people in a similar capacity
A commitment to supporting students, promoting their wellbeing and outcomes
Experience of supporting students with special educational needs is desirable
