Job Description

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working alongside a fantastic business in the Alfreton area as they look to recruit an entry level Finance Assistant into their team on a full time permanent basis. Benefits:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month end accounts completion, including preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
  • Support with capital expenditure process, administration of approval process and preparation of reporting of spend versus plan Support in consolidation and review of operations monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Validation and SAP release of new product costings, and existing product costing amendments
  • Develop a strong understanding of all areas within operations to support overall consolidation of monthly management accounts and analysis of financial performance for operations
  • Provide flexible support as required by the wider Finance Team
Person Specification:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly
  • Comfortable working as part of a team with shared responsibilities
  • Clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong academic qualifications
  • Currently studying / desire to study AAT
