My client is a UK brand name focused on improving the lives of their cusomters and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing tech team. This role would suit a DevOps Engineer looking for their next step up, or a SysAdmin/Developer with someexposure to DevOps tools and methodologies looking to transition into a pure DevOps role.This role will be mostly remote, with 6 days per month onsite on a rotational basis in their incredible office in Alfreton. On offer is a salary of £45k - £75k and a fantastic benefits package, as outlined below.Responsibilities:* Work collaboratively with the clients Dev and QA teams to develop cloud infrastructure and support their aspirations for continuous delivery* Assist in the creation their development, test and production environments, as well as setting up their frameworks, tooling and mechanics to ensure testing is effective* Build and maintain solutions across their tech stack, including Kubernetes, App Services, Istio and Docker* Create, update and monitor reporting dashboards to allow the business to make data driven decisionsRequirements:* Ideally some previous DevOps experience, or a SysAdmin/Developer background with some exposure to DevOps tools and methodologies and a desire to move into a pure DevOps role* At least some exposure to IaC tools, with Kubernetes experience being a must, and any experience with App Services, Istio and Docker being beneficial* Exposure to automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Synk, Octopus Deploy, or other similar tools would be beneficialBenefits:* 26 days AL + bank holidays, plus they are currently trialling a 9 day fortnight where you can opt in to condense your normal working hours and have 1 day every other week off* Up to 5% employer pension contribution* Performance related bonus after your first 18 months and a discretionary Christmas bonus* Health cash plan to spend as you want (the tax element is also covered by the client)* Life assurance and enhanced maternity/paternity and sick payHeavily subsidised onsite restaurant offering freshly made lunchesIf you are interested please click apply and share your CV.
