We are looking for a registered adult nurse to join the team on ward 15. You will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team providing a high standard of care for older adults. You will be responsible for a group of patients with complex needs and be involved in all aspects of their day to day care include discharge planning. You will assess patient needs, plan/implement and evaluate a programme of care which is evidence based utilising all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others. You will regularly undertake extended clinical practice i.e. venepuncture, cannulation, IV drug administration and other clinical practice specific to specialist area of work. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Adult Nurse with the NMC with evidence of continued professional development.
