This post will be based at vale of leven general outpatients and pre-assessment departments. You will be required to carry out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a registered nurse as well as on your own initiative. You will assist patients with activities of daily living and co-operate with and maintain good relationships with other disciplines that are attending and treating clients to maximise patient care. Previous outpatient or healthcare experience and phlebotomy skills is desirable but not essential, as well as a svq3 qualification or equivalent. It skills are required in addition to a caring disposition and excellent communication skills.
