Job Description

We are currently partnered up with Logitech, a research and development industry leader in small batch production lapping and polishing equipment to appoint a Business Analyst. Logitech are owned by Roper Technologies (US Fortune 500 industrial company),have c9m turnover and are HQd in Old Kilpatrick.This is a newly created role in line with their new ERP system to make their processes more efficient and to improve the quality and value of the data they process. Operating in niches, market intelligence is of vital importance and they want to improvetheir generation and utilisation of their own data.The key focuses for the role are:

  • Support the Head of Finance, be able to provide cover at Financial Controller level when required and have the ability to progress to that position within 1-2 years. At the same time, they will assist in the growth and professional development of the othermembers of the Finance department.
  • Develop meaningful Market Research and Business Intelligence capabilities in conjunction with the Head of Sales & Processes and the Marketing Executive.
  • Work with the Head of Engineering & Development as a Finance Business partner in the research and development of new products and services and collaborate with production to provide robust financial control and efficiencys within the manufacturing environment.
The candidate profile we desire is:
  • Professional accounting qualification with 1-3 PQE (would consider an MSc instead)
  • Big 4 or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to generate research and make sense of data to translate that into a form that can drive decision-making
