The role of the Assistant will be to support Audiologists in the provision of Audiology and Hearing care to the population of Greater Glasgow & Clyde. You will, after a period of in house training, carry out basic hearing aid checks/ maintenance where necessary, earmould maintenance, impression taking and battery issue. You will also carry out administrative and clerical duties, room preparation and stock control/ ordering.It is essential for this post you have excellent communication skills and empathy with the hearing impaired and their families.It is essential you have good IT skills and 4 standard grades/national 5 qualifications or equivalentAbility to work in a team as well as being able to make decisions when working single handed is required for this post.
