Our client near Alconbury is looking for an Engineer.Days/Hours:Monday – Thursday (7:30am – 5pm)Friday (7:30am – 4pm )Salary:£28,000 - £35,000 plus per annum depending on experienceBenefits:· Profit Share Scheme for ALL employees· Company Pension 6%· 25 days holiday Plus 8 days Bank Holidays· Overtime available (time and a third)· On-site parking· Closed 4.5 days over Christmas 2024 (extra 2 weeks off!)· Canteen on site· Company events once a monthPlant Engineer Responsibilities:· To refurbish used access equipment to LOLER standards ready for sale including inspection, servicing, repairs, paint preparation and certification.· Carry out pre-delivery inspection and issue LOLER certificates on new equipment during busy periods.Plant Engineer Personal Attributes:· MUST drive as no transport links· Previous experience of access, plant or similar is essential· Applicant should have served recognised apprenticeship or similar as a minimum.· Ideally IPAF and CAP certified or have the relevant qualifications to work towards CAP certification.· The successful candidate will receive full manufacturer training on a range of access equipment including LGMG and Hinowa.· Experience of access, welding, mechanics, electrics and hydraulics including fault finding and diagnostic skills would be highly desirable· The ability to work independently or alongside other engineers as part of a team using their own initiative· The ability to work efficiently in a logical and methodical manner· Problem-solver (thinks outside the box)If youre interested in this Plant Engineer position, please apply today!Any third-party applications received either via an agency or any other source will be automatically forwarded directly to OA.Established in 1995, Osborne Appointments is an independently owned recruitment agency specialising in the supply of temporary, contract and permanent placements.
