Job Description

Class 2 Shunter Driver - Alconbury, Huntingdon - Temp to Perm - £12.00 to £18.00 per hourExtrastaff Ltd are looking for a Class 2 Shunter Driver for our client in Alconbury, Huntingdon. This is a Temp to Perm position and our client is looking for someone for the long haul (no pun intended)!You do not require a Class 2 licence, CPC or Digicard for this role!Key responsibilities:

  • Manoeuvring vehicles from small vans up to Class 2 lorries (on and off loading bays as well as open loading areas)
  • Able to work off of your own initiative as you will spend a lot of time working outdoors, unsupervised
  • Assisting in the warehouse and other areas of the operation as required
About the role:
  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 22:30 - 07:00
  • £12.00 per hour
  • £18.00 per hour overtime (after 40 hours)
  • Full training provided
  • Permanent opportunity
The successful person:
  • Will have experience driving Class 2 vehicles (including reversing onto loading bays)
  • Flexible approach to work and hours as over time and additional shifts may be required during peak periods
  • You do not necessarily need a Class 2 licence for this role but you will be asked to evidence your experience
  • No CPC or Digicard required as this is an on-site shunting role
