Our responsibilities include: • Plan and deliver major capital projects and lifecycle refurbishment • Provide utilities services • Manage soft facilities management (i.e. cleaning and catering) • Provide a safe place to train • Allocate Service Families Accommodation • Procure and manage routine maintenance and reactive repair • Provide a central register of asset information to advise infrastructure planning • Act as steward of the Defence estate • Provide the unarmed guarding service We employ approximately 4,900 staff from a very diverse range of professions, and we work across the world; in Germany, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands, Norway, Poland, Kenya, Belize, Nepal and Oman. You can view our YouTube video to see more about our workJob descriptionThe ChallengeDIO Regional Delivery, United States Forces operate within a centralised Head Office at RAF Wyton and 2 regions East and West which span 6 major sites; RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in the East Region and RAF Alconbury, RAF Croughton, RAF Fairford and RAF Menwith Hill in the West Region. This role within DIO Regional Delivery United States Forces is aimed at delivering a range of administrative support. As such, this position offers the prospect of working in a collaborative team environment that will work together to successfully deliver improved services to the USVF in support of their MissionResponsibilitiesMain ResponsibilitiesFinancial Support• Scrutinise payment audit reports and financial workbooks to identify site recharge action • Manage the re-charge process in a timely and efficient manner to recover monies from the US client. • Management, reconciliation and escalation of USF debt • Process Host Nation business cases on receipt and track and record monthly spend Security• Management and first point of escalation for Base entry and security related issue from DIO contractors and on-site US Client security services. Provision and guidance on all aspects of security including document management. • Responsible for the management and creation of accounts and associated processes via the Defence Business Services National Security Vetting for all non-DIO security applications. General Administration• Management and supervision of the provision of support services to include file management, stationery supplies, postal services and taking and production of minutes as required. • Authorised Demanding Officer (ADO) for hire/pool car management. Focal point for all Phoenix returns and transport related issues. • Responsible for the collation & provision of data for management information returns. • Point of contact for DIO Business Continuity to include the collation and production of site Divisional Recovery Plans. • Act as Local Security Officer for all MODNET related issues.
