Job Description

Role: General Insurance Account Handler Location: Home based with monthly attendance at meeting in Alcester B49Salary: £25 - 30,000 plus monthly bonusWe are working exclusively with a successful and growing financial services organisation to support with strengthening their General Insurance team. As an Insurance Account Handler, you will be focused on providing administrative support to various insurancerenewals, by processing up to 150 renewals per month.This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm based at home, so you must be a natural self-starter and motivated to work from home daily to achieve objectives. Its expected you will attend a monthly meeting at the company offices in AlcesterB49, you must be a driver to reach their location.Role and responsibilities:

  • As an Insurance Account Handler, you will be providing full administrative support and organising insurance renewals, midterm adjustments and cancellations
  • Build relationships and work closely with clients and insurers
  • Responsible for accurately updating the broker system and ensure all procedures are adhered to and compliance is maintained
  • Checking reports and documentations are correct before being sent out to relevant parties
  • Negotiating with insurers and re-broking
  • Cross selling additional products at renewal stage by discussing requirements to fit customer demands and needs
  • General administrative duties as required with the role such as invoicing
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven background and knowledge of GI (general insurance) or insurance is essential
  • Ability to be self-motivated whilst working from home daily
  • Confident personality with outstanding communication and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven experience working to targets and company objectives
  • Soft sales and relationship building skills
