Job Description

Environmental, Health, Safety & Facilities ManagerPermanent PositionMonThu 07:3016:30, Fri 07:3012:00Competitive Salary & Excellent BenefitsAlcesterOur client, a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Power generation and Aerospace sector is looking for an experienced EHS & Facilities Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years experience in a similar position, managing a small team and will have a NEBOSH qualification/certificate. EHS & Facilities ManagerJob Description

  • Being responsible for all aspects of HSE and facility management activities as well as the maintenance of the production machinery across the Alcester site.
  • Maintaining up to date risk assessments including COSHH and DSEAR
  • Maintaining and reporting against KPIs to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Identifying any actual or potential H&S concerns or problems and seeking effective solutions to contain, solve or escalate within an appropriate timescale.
  • Being responsible for accident near miss investigations and internal reporting.
  • Ensuring that the site is prepared for audits at all times by adhering to H&S principles by creating an exhaustible list of EHS & Facilities audit points to be checked at defined frequencies.
  • Leading or participating in lean events to improve any aspect of performance associated with EHS & Facilities.
  • Managing site plant installations, relocations and decommissions in accordance with HS&E requirements.
  • PPE and First Aid provision, training and equipment
EHS & Facilities ManagerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience with ISO14001
  • Holder of NEBOSH certification
  • PPM/TPM in facilities or machine maintenance, but the main part of the role with be HS&E
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with an ERP System
EHS & Facilities ManagerDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience within a managerial role
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Problem solving mentality
  • Basic project management knowledge
