Are you looking for a career in ICT with an ambitious and innovative Council Are you passionate about delivering a first class service experience to your customers If you are, then Runnymede Borough Council would like to hear from you.We are looking for a full-time LLPG & GIS Officer to join our Digital Services Team based at the Civic Centre in the heart of Addlestone’s regenerated town centre. Here you will become part of a team committed to driving improvement through innovative ideas using the latest technology and supporting staff to access council software services.Working alongside the Principal GIS Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Local Land and Property Gazetteer as the Council’s LLPG Custodian, ensuring the authority sustains an accurate and up to date corporate address database. This includes adding and updating newly developed properties, cross referencing addresses to external data sources, and integrating the LLPG into other business systems across the Council. Experience of using LLPG data is highly desirable although not essential.You will also assist in providing a corporate GIS service, including data digitisation and visualisation, working on a wide variety of GIS projects and offering specialised support in responding to GIS and geospatial enquiries.
