Job Description

IR35 status:outside IR35Location of Work: Initially 3 days onsite, 2 days offsite. Further flexibility can be offered.Contract length: 3 month rolling contractThe Project: A highly regarded electronics business who specialise in handheld consumer products require two electronic contractors to join their medium sized R&D team, consisting of hardware, embedded software and mechanical design engineers.You will be working on Analogue and Digital microcontroller/ microprocessor products that are mains powered and manufactured in high volume. Although these are high end consumer products cost constraints do need to be considered.One contractor will be working on the design of a brand-new device, working from concept stage through to manufacture.The second contractor will be working on an existing device where you will be designing out obsolete components (due to the component shortage) as well as making design enhances.The role offers you the opportunity to work part of a fun and friendly R&D team, developing devices which are used by millions of individuals all over the world.Skills required:

Full electronic design lifecycle experience
Analogue and Digital circuit design for embedded micro based systems
Design for EMC compliance
Altium schematic design

Desirable experience:

SMPSU
Designed products that use ARM microprocessors
Designed high volume manufactured devices
