A SaaS company in Aberdeen that works with some worldwide household brands is looking for their first Software Tester to join the team. Up to this point, the Developers and Support team have covered the testing function but as they embark on a big migrationfrom desktop to web, they now have the need for a dedicated Software Tester to join the team which obviously means its a super exciting time to be joining them!The need someone to have at least some commercial experience in a Manual Software Testing role. The role will actually offer the opportunity to pick up some experience Automation Testing so any prior experience of this would be beneficial but definitelynot a necessity. They work with Cypress which is obviously one of the most popular testing tools in the market at the moment, so its an amazing opportunity for a Manual Tester that really wants to upskill. There may also be the opportunity to get involvedwith some Development work in the future as well - only if youd like to though.Youll work closely with the Product Manager, Development team and Support team once in the role.The company is based in Aberdeen so it would be preferred if they managed to find someone in Scotland, but this isnt essential. They do quarterly meetups, so ideally, youd be able to attend them. The role requires you to have full rights to work withinthe UK and cant offer sponsorship.
