We are inviting applications from enthusiastic individuals to become an eRostering Officer and join our eRostering Team, based in the Workforce DirectorateThe eRostering team are currently supporting NHS Grampian by implementing and supporting the use of the Health roster system in service areas. This increases visibility of the workforce and supports the right staff being in the right place at the right time.As an eRostering Officer you will support this important work by creating and maintaining electronic rosters for relevant services and maintaining data held in the system on an ongoing basis. The postholder must ensure rosters are made available to managers and staff within the agreed timelines and that any potential issues are identified and escalated.timeously.The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that Service areas are using Health roster appropriately, providing advice and guidance to users, undertaking various quality assurance checks and producing system reports as required for local service areas, sectors, board committees and national groups as required.Applicants should be educated to HNC level, or have equivalent experience in a similar setting, extensive knowledge and experience of systems including MS packages and an understanding of eRostering policies, have a proven ability to manage a diverse workload whist working to deadlines. A keen eye for attention to detail is required as well as maintaining high standards of accuracy and data integrity. An ability to problem solve, establish and maintain professional relationships and good communication skills are also key requirements of this post.Experience of operating SSTS or an eRostering system, delivering training sessions and working knowledge of NHS Grampian are all advantageous although not essential.Applications are invited for this full-time post of 37.50 hours per week. While the post will be based at Westholme, Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, the post holder will substantially work from home in the short term due to Covid arrangements. The successful applicant must be flexible to work across NHS Grampian sites as required and must also have the ability to work across 7 days per week to support service needs.Interviews will be held on Friday 19 February.Closing Date: Sunday 14 February 2020
