Job Description

REED Engineering are delighted to have partnered with an Oil & Gas service company who are looking to add a Mechanical Technician to their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be based near the Dyce area of Aberdeen.On top of salary, you will be rewarded with overtime (when applicable), life insurance and private healthcare cover.This role would suit an ideal move for a time-served Mechanical Technician who has one or two years post-apprenticeship experience.As Mechanical Technician, you will be supporting the companys operations offshore by working as part of a team to perform service and maintenance across their portfolio of tools. Other duties will include:

Stripping and re-dressing of tooling returning from offshore
Preparation of tools for shipment
Assembly and maintenance of offshore tooling

To be suited to this role we require

Time-served in a Mechanical discipline
Some post-apprenticeship experience (ideally within an oil services environment)
Full, clean driving licence (ideally with access to a vehicle)
Overhead crane ticket (highly desirable, not essential)
