Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with one of the UKs leading animal feed manufacturers. The companys core business is the supply of livestock feed plus a retail division of 21 retail stores.Do you have experience in sales or sales tradingDo you enjoy interacting with other people and have an outgoing confident personalityWe would love to hear from you!This exciting role presents a great opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our Commercial team as a Commodities Sales Trader based at Turriff.This position will be responsible for the sales of key traded goods and agricultural commodities working in an incredibly fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same.To include some of the following key responsibilities:

  • Achieving the sales targets set as part of the overall trading team
  • Building relationships with customers and providing high levels of service
  • Building relationships with key suppliers
  • Dealing with the daily enquiries and pricing for the commercial desk
  • Managing and maintaining customer and prospect lists in line with the overall trading plan
  • Reporting on sales activity and KPI achievement
  • Sales and corresponding purchase order management
  • Assisting, as necessary, with transport/stock management and order fulfilment
  • Providing proactive advice to customers on market movements
  • Supporting sales team with specialist advice and sales support
  • Co-ordinating key product campaigns with other members of the trading and sales teams
  • Include end to end management of supply chain process including procurement and logistics management
You will need to be a good communicator, maintain and building relationships with suppliers and colleagues.Strong mathematical ability and proficient in Microsoft Office programmes are essential as this role will require you to analyse sales figures, spottingcommercial opportunities and trends.May consider hybrid working for the right candidate.To apply, please submit your CV and covering letter.
