Job Description

We are now looking for a College Services Officer to join our busy team in Aberdeen!We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering a first-rate service and are eager to develop their own skills at the same time as undertaking the core functions of the CSO role.About the College Services Officer Role:The College Services Officer (CSO) is a critical member of the College team and is significantly involved in the delivery of the key aspects of the student academic life cycle. The successful candidate will work across all functions of the College. The roleis multi-faceted and will require someone who is willing to learn and is happy working in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork will be an essential requirement of the role, as will a high level of customer service and a can-do attitude.The CSO will assist the CSM to maintain the Colleges student management system and ensure that records are compliant with college, partner University and external stakeholder expectations. The CSO will assist the CSM to support all policies and regulationsensuring a high standard of accuracy and completeness at all times.College Services Officer requirements:

  • Degree or 2 years relevant work experience
  • Experience of working in a busy customer orientated environment, including dealing with customers face to face, on the phone and via email
  • Experience of working with and meeting the needs of different stakeholders
  • Experience of working with MOODLE
  • Experience handling and prioritising multiple workloads
  • Experience of working with data systems and a good understanding of maintaining electronic records
  • A strong team player who is also able to work autonomously
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in building and managing internal and external relationships
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural matrixed environment
  • Relationship management skills in a commercial, fast paced environment
  • Experience in a Higher Education or Independent Education setting
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of the Home Office Student Visa regulations
  • Experience of being involved in successful project work
