Auto ElectricianAberdeenRole: Auto ElectricianLocation: AberdeenReporting to: Engineering ManagerJob Type: Full time, PermanentHours: 45 hours a weekHourly rate: up to £15.32/hourBenefits:

    • We currently have a vacancy for an Auto Electrician to join a national company at their Aberdeen Depot.This is an excellent opportunity for an Auto Electrician who is a time served apprenticeship as an electrician or has a demonstrated work history with a Level 2 Electrical Engineering Qualification.You will have recent experience within a PCV/HGV/LGV workshop and ideally hold a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance. IRTEC accreditation would be highly advantageous as would a PSV Licence.The Role:
  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs
  • Servicing and parts replacement
  • Diagnosing electrical faults on bus and truck
  • Fault finding across commercials vehicles
  • Repairing major electrical damage
  • Re-programming doors etc
    • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Time served apprenticeship or work history as an Electrician
  • Recent experience within PCV/HGV/LGV motor vehicle engineering
  • Ideally City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance
  • Ideally IRTEC accreditation
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • A full UK driving licence (at least 12 months and no more than 6 points)
  • PCV licence is desirable
