Job Description

Housing Options Matcher (Ukrainian Resettlement)Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday-Friday Between 8am-6pmLocation: AberdeenPay rate: £14.86Start Date: ASAPDuration: End ofSeptember 2023 initiallyPertemps are recruiting for Welcome Hosts to be based in the Long-Term Integration team of the Warm Scottish Welcome Programme supporting Ukrainian people arriving in Scotland - this is an important and rewarding role and we are looking for people focused candidatesto join the team in West Lothian.Main Duties

  • Hotel based role to provide a consistent presence for advice about housing options to promote UDPs accessing sustainable accommodation.
  • Accept referrals from Hosting Matcher and ACC resettlement team.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice regarding housing options including, Hosting arrangements, Private rented accommodation mainstream housing applications, RSL housing applications and shared opportunities.
  • Providing practical assistance with the support of interpretations to make contact with landlords, make applications and accessing sustainable housing.
  • Address barriers to sustainable accommodation with Guests and signpost support services.
  • Reinforce messaging around offers made through the Resettlement funded properties.
  • Maintain an accurate record of Guests accessing the service and outcomes of advice.
  • Use the Matching App to record an accurate record of internal matching and matches to external hosting opportunities
Essential Skills
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently and also work as part of a team
  • Handling sensitive information
  • Awareness of the need for discretion and to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to take accurate notes and action points of complex meetings
  • High level of proficiency in all Microsoft packages including Word
