What does this Care Assistant job involveHours of Work:Up To 40 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 11:00 - 21:00 (VERY Flexible Provider - Shifts can vary) / Weekend work as wellJob Summary : To provide basic care to all service users within the Home under the direction of the Registered Manager. To participate / provide a full range of activities to meet the emotional and psychological and social needs of the serviceusers.Responsibilities:
  • To encourage independence in service users within the scope of their individual needs
  • to provide personal care.
  • to maintain the high standard of care
  • to report to the Registered Manager to any changes to the service user’s condition
  • to facilitate clear communication channels
  • to maintain accurate records
  • to ensure correct and safe use of equipment
  • to work within approved guidelines, procedures and policies
  • to attend statutory training sessions
  • to pursue where possible NVQ training
  • to assist in activities for the service users
