Role: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: NorfolkWorking Hours/ Pattern: 08.00 to 16.30 Office based (Mon to Fri)Salary: Highly competitiveDue to rapid growth and being awarded several projects, ISQ Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Successful candidate will be delivering cost effective, robust mechanical engineeringsolutions for new customer programs, working on a detailed design of components and assemblies in a CAD environment.Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:* Designing and developing mechanical components and systems for a variety of applications.* Creating 3D CAD models of components and assemblies.* Complete and release detailed engineering drawings.* Understanding and applying Geometric tolerances, limits, and fits to ensure proper function and manufacturing feasibility.* Collaborating with project teams and suppliers in regards DFA and DFM.* Documenting mechanical design concepts, calculations, and test results.Requirements:* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.* Previous experience in mechanical design engineering and analysis preferably within automotive industry.* Proficient in 3D CAD modelling.* Strong understanding of Geometric tolerances, limits, and fits.Benefits:* Highly competitive salary* 30 days holidays (22+8 bank holidays).* Private healthcare and medical insurance after probation period.* Pension contribution - auto enrolment after 3 months.* Possibility to progress within the role and rapidly expanding business.If you meet the above requirements and are interested in joining a dynamic and growing company, please submit your application, including your resume highlighting your relevant experience.
